Executive Chef Shamil Velazquez
Helmed by Executive Chef Shamil Velazquez, the menu features an extensive raw bar selection and thoughtfully presented dishes with an emphasis on traditional and contemporary preparations. Working directly with farmers and fisheries, Velazquez sources seafood both locally from the Atlantic and Carolina waterways as well as a multitude of other regions around the world. While paying homage to the classic oyster houses that have stood the test of time, Velazquez combines his Puerto Rican upbringing with his technique and experience from kitchens across the country.
General Manager Kevin King
General Manager Kevin King leads the beverage program, which features innovative and refreshing cocktails, craft beers, and a wine list inspired by marine influenced terroir from around the world. Both in format and selection, the beverage list mirrors the fresh and vibrant flavors of Velazquez’s dishes for an inspired seafood experience from start to finish.
Dedicated to the art of the perfect martini, King designed the Delaney House Martini Program as an ode to the classic drink and its many variants.
